Purpose
Built an automated irrigation system for personal use, combining electrical controls, software and water-distribution equipment to control watering.
Design and implementation
Independently designed, wired, programmed and put the system into operation. Produced electrical diagrams and control-panel layouts, selected and installed components, integrated the controller software, and implemented valve control, flow measurement and timed shutoffs.
Operation
The system is operational and can be accessed remotely to adjust settings while traveling.
